🎉 Official Launch of Jaqln: A New Era for Access to Justice in Québec

Published on:

Montreal, July 1st, 2025 —

After several months of hard work, we are proud to officially announce the launch of Jaqln, a technology platform designed to democratize access to justice.

Our mission is simple yet ambitious: to make the law accessible, understandable, and useful for everyone.

A Free First Feature Focused on Housing Law

For this launch, we’re introducing our very first free conversational agent (chatbot), an AI-powered tool that delivers clear legal information on housing law in Québec. This chatbot allows users to ask questions on key topics such as:

  • rent increases

  • lease termination or renewal

  • repairs and landlord obligations

  • evictions or repossession of housing

  • and much more.

The goal: to empower both tenants and landlords to better understand their rights and obligations — with no legal jargon, available 24/7.

Want to try it out? It’s simple. Just create a free account and start using the tool right away. But don’t wait — we’re only allowing a limited number of users for now.

Why July 1st?

July 1st is more than just Canada Day — it’s also Moving Day in Québec, an annual event that sadly highlights the depth of the current housing crisis. By launching on this symbolic date, we aim to underscore our commitment to making justice more accessible in a context of urgency, change, and vulnerability.

This Is Just the Beginning

Jaqln is a long-term vision. In the coming months, our team will roll out new features, expand the platform to other areas of law, and continue building practical tools to help individuals represent themselves, understand their rights, and connect with trusted resources — from lawyers and notaries to other legal professionals.

Thank You for Being Part of the Movement

This launch is the result of a passionate team effort and the support of incredible partners. Thank you to everyone who has backed us on this journey so far.

Join us in building access to justice that reflects the values of equality, transparency, and dignity.
